Woman In Grey
At this high-spirited event, knowledge of art is not necessary, but looking at art is essential!

Intriguing clues and Museum maps led guests at the sold-out event on their quest to find the answers in the art throughout the galleries. Winners were rewarded with one of three original oil paintings generously donated by renowned local artists Ralph Waterhouse, Wyllis Heaton and Steve Curry.

The evening began with wine, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres before the Mystery Hunt took place. Guests were given a list of clever clues leading to answers in the Museum’s works of art. To end the evening, everyone gathered in the Museum’s auditorium, where the solutions were revealed to both cheers and groans, and the fabulous prizes were awarded to the sleuths who had solved the most mysteries in the shortest time. The winner of the raffle for two 2016 Platinum Passes, generously donated by the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, was also drawn.
